The commitment of the centre to the quality and continuous improvement of the Faculty of Biology is specified by a quality policy that marks its own strategy that is determined by the general objectives of quality and its consequent lines of action.
Quality Policy
The center’s quality policy stems from the importance of consolidating a culture of quality within the university, considering it a determining factor in achieving the satisfaction of its graduates’ educational expectations and their recognition in the academic, professional, and social spheres in which they operate.
The Faculty of Biology undertakes to employ all available human and material resources in compliance with current regulations and in accordance with the criteria and guidelines established to implement the general guidelines that constitute the center’s Quality Policy, which are as follows:
- Provide comprehensive and high-quality training at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, promoting the identification of graduates as biology professionals
- Recognize and support research activity as a strategic value for the faculty’s objectives
- Caring for the personal and collective environment as a tool to increase the sense of belonging to the faculty and foster relationships with stakeholders (students, PDI and PTGAS, graduates)
- Promote efficient use of the center’s resources, including sustainability criteria
- Promote the social projection of the faculty, including relations with the professional and business environment
