On July, 17, in the CGIACA it was passed the Institutional Accreditation Process for Centres by ACSUG. This new process means that the centres which fulfil the requirements established on the March 7, 2018 Resolution, can request the centre institutional accreditation, which involves a simplification on the degree renewal process, as all the centres which obtain this institutional accreditation renew the accreditation of all the Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees automatically, without going through the conventional method established in the Royal Decree 1393/2007.
The Faculty of Biology received the approved evaluation report by the ACSUG for the institutional accreditation of the centre on November 30, 2018. The General Secretary of Universities declared the institutional accreditation of the Faculty of Biology on January 28, 2019.
